For our logistic client, Geodis, we are looking for a Team Leader for a dynamic logistics position in Venlo.
As a Team Leader in the warehouse, you will be responsible for the logistics process and performing the following tasks:
- Ensuring coordination of activities so that goods are handled according to the action plan.
- Instructing employees, directing work, and assigning tasks based on established priorities.
- Reporting work performance (KPIs) to your supervisor, who is either the Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
- Independently solving problems and bottlenecks whenever possible.
- Maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety.
- Communicating effectively, fostering a positive work atmosphere, and maintaining a supportive approach to your team.
- Actively seeking to improve the logistics process.
- Starting with a temporary contract through Start People (tijdelijk dienstverband).
- Potential for a direct contract with Geodis (direct contract).
- Full-time employment with a goal of permanent placement.

- Salary ranging from €2700 to €3200 gross per month.
- 35% shift allowance after 7:00 PM.
- Commuting allowance for distances over 10 km, up to a maximum of €11.50 per day.
- Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually.
- Experience in a supervisory role related to logistics.
- Knowledge of the entire logistics process within a warehouse.
- Social skills required for interacting with employees.
- Proficiency in Dutch, English, or German, both spoken and written.
- Responsibility for work, employees, and customer products.
- Availability for full-time work (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM).
